The grounds for expansion of cooperation in Tourism, energy, technological know-how and academic affairs are well prepared, Jahangiri said adding that Tehran welcomes investments of Turkish companies in Iran.

Felicitating Iran’s nuclear deal, he said, ‘I hope the deal will play leading role in meeting interests of both nations as well as that of the other nations.’
Through clinching the deal, the Islamic Republic of Iran once again will find its status at the international scene, he said adding that Turkey has always backed resolve of Iran nuclear dispue through diplomatic means and believes that the deal would open a new chapter in front of Tehran and Ankara.
Iran and Turkey share many historical and religious commonalities which would lead to expansion of relations between the two countries, he said.
Unfair economic sanctions imposed on Iran left negative impacts on volume of trade between the two countries, he said adding that Turkey is now ready to broaden such cooperation.
Given sensitive situation in the region and the agreement between the two Iranian and Turkish presidents on broadening cooperation in fight with terrorism, he said no country is now immune from terrorists and Turkey is ready to take proper action in dealing with them, said Turkish ambassador.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey as two powerful and big countries in the region can play active role in fight with terrorists, he said.
