 Iran for expansion of ties with Denmark

Outgoing Danish Ambassador to Tehran Anders Christian Hougaard met on Monday with First Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi discussing issues of mutual interest, AVA Diplomatic reports.

In the meeting, Sarmadi called for expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Referring to deeply-rooted and brilliant relations between the two countries, he called for expansion of all-out relations and cooperation at bilateral level as well as the European Union level.

On nuclear deal between Iran and G5+1, Sarmadi said the prospects of relations is very promising and it is expected that under the new atmosphere fundamental projects and economic, cultural, scientific and academic cooperation will be set on the agenda.

Lauding the efforts of outgoing Danish ambassador to Tehran at the end of his five year tenure, Sarmadi also wished for his success.

The outgoing diplomat briefed Sarmadi on the plans for increasing level of mutual ties political, economic, commercial, cultural and academic cooperation.
