Ahmadinejad: Iran seeks justice in ties
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the Islamic Republic welcomes the expansion of relations with other countries based on “justice and equality”, AVA Diplomatic reports.President Ahmadinejad made the remark at a meeting with the new Danish Ambassador to Tehran, Anders Christian Hougaard, on Wednesday after receiving the envoy’s credentials.
The ambassador also hailed bilateral ties with Tehran and said Iran and Denmark can enhance their ties based on their commonality.
President Ahmadinejad also received credentials of new Polish and Kenyan ambassadors to Tehran on the same day.
The Iranian chief executive reiterated that there was “no negative point” in relations between Iran and Poland and welcomed the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
He hoped that the European Union would adopt a more balance approach during the Polish presidency of the EU.
President Ahmadinejad also pointed out that Iran and Kenya were keen to boost their ties and welcomed relations between the two countries as “brotherly.”
