Slovakia determined to broaden relations with Iran: Ambassador

Slovak Ambassador to Tehran Jan Bory on Sunday conferred with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on expansion of relations between the two countries, AVA Diplomatic reports.

The outgoing ambassador said that Slovakia is willing to enhance level of mutual cooperation with Iran after implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Slovakian ambassador at the end of his tenure to the Islamic Republic of Iran exchanged views with the Iranian foreign minister on prospects of relations between the two sides.

Describing the current level of relations between Iran and Slovakia as positive, he called for expansion of cooperation between the two sides.

Zarif said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to broaden political, economic and cultural cooperation with Slovakia.

He expressed the hope that the outgoing Slovakian ambassador to be quite successful in his new posts to help expand affinities between the two nations.
