Danish Ambassador’s visit to Zanjan an opportunity for increased economic interactions

Head of the Trade, Industries, Mine and Agriculture Chamber of Zanjan said the two-day visit to the province of the Danish Ambassador, Danny Annan, is considered an opportunity for the promotion of economic interactions in the field of dairy industries and information technology, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Gholamhossein Jamili said Denmark ranks first in dairy industry and livestock products. The official pointed to the export of Zanjan dairy products to the neighboring countries, especially Iraq and Syria, and said the dairy industry technology which is possessed by Denmark can serve as an opportunity for improvement of the level of industrial units active in the field of dairy and livestock industry.

Jamili further remarked that the visit of the Danish ambassador to Zanjan can be effective in the transfer of technology to the province. He said Denmark has announced readiness for cooperation with southwest Iranian provinces, adding that Zanjan can take the opportunity for the transfer of the required technology. Meanwhile, he noted, Denmark ranks fifth in the world in the field of information technology and can render remarkable help to the province in this regard.

Jamili said that industry has been chosen as the axis for the development of Zanjan, adding that Danish expertise and technologies can be used in the development of industries in the area of information and communication technology and electronics.
