Outgoing Turkish ambassador meet Zarif

The outgoing Turkish ambassador to Iran met with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Monday to say goodbye, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Turkey’s Riza Hakan Tekin had formerly served at the Turkish embassies in the United Arab Emirates and Bulgaria, and worked at the Permanent Mission of Turkey in the United Nations in New York.

Derya Ors, head of the Ataturk High Council of Culture, Language and History, has been appointed ambassador to Iran, replacing Hakan Tekin.
