New Bangladesh ambassador submits copy of credentials to FM
New Bangladesh Ambassador to Tehran Mojir Abdulrahman in a meeting with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday submitted copy of his credentials and discussed deepening bilateral ties, AVA Diplomatic reports.
According to Foreign Ministry Media Department, Abdulrahman expressed his country’s interests to hold regular consultations with Iran, saying that Bangladesh believes in Iran’s special status in the Muslim World.
He expressed hope that regular consultations would lead to expansion of economic and cultural cooperation between Tehran and Dakar.
Considering strong and forwarding ties between the two states, Zarif said that Tehran and Dakar relations have always been strong and that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to expand ties in all fields with Bangladesh without any limitations.
