French ambassador prays to God for global peace

French Ambassador to Tehran Bruno Foucher on Monday attended the holy shrine of Fatima Masoumeh (S.A.) and prayed to God for restoration of peace in the world, AVA Diplomatic reports.In a meeting with the manager of public relations and international relations of the Shrine, the French ambassador said Paris is determined to send more French tourists to the holy city.

It is not possible to clearly express the exact number of Muslims in France, but, the fact is that Islam is the second most popular religion in France, said the French ambassador.

France is the first country in the world who has established a center for research studies on Shia branch of Islam, he said adding that the center is able to broaden its contact with the Iranian institutions and organizations.
