Iran summons French envoy to explain MKO gathering in Paris
French Ambassador to Tehran was summoned to foreign ministry by director general for western Europe of the ministry Abolqassem Delfi to received Iran’s protest message for holding the an annual meeting of MKO terrorist group in Paris, AVA Diplomatic reports.
“The holding of this meeting by those whose hands are stained with bloods of Iranian people and by supporting terrorist groups such as Taliban, al-Qaeda and the ISIL as well as becoming the accomplice of the Zionists and making inappropriate statements by them against the Islamic Republic of Iran in France is unacceptable,” Delfi said.
He reiterated that allowing other countries’ officials to launch propaganda and insult a third country is against the international law regulations and is doomed as well as unacceptable.
The Iranian foreign ministry official also called on the French government to declare its official stance on MKO and the anti-Iran statements stated by founders and supporters of Takfiri terrorists and anti-human grouplets in Paris.
The French ambassador, for his part, said his government has no relation with MKO and does not recognize that grouplet, adding, “The Islamic Republic of Iran’s protest will be conveyed to the French officials shortly.”
