Ambassador: Turkey seeks to reconcile Tehran, Riyadh

The Turkish ambassador to Tehran has said Ankara is making efforts to reconcile Iran and Saudi Arabia, AVA Diplomatic reports.

“We are not happy about the status quo between Iran and Saudi Arabia, since we believe Iran, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia are three important countries of the region,” Reza Hakan Tekin said on Saturday.

“Any fixed and stable approach to existing problems should be reached through cooperation between these three countries,” the Turkish diplomat pointed out.
