Expansion of Iran-Germany economic, political ties imminent: Envoy

German Ambassador to Iran Michael Baron von Ungern said on Tuesday that given the progress of the nuclear talks, enhancement of Iran-Germany economic and political ties is imminent, AVA Diplomatic reports.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Hormuzgan governor general.The ambassador said that expansion of bilateral relations will be beneficial for both nations Contending that Iran and Germany can be good commercial partners, he further noted that Hormuzgan province can play a key role in the two countries’ ties because it is considered gateway for Iran’s economic exchanges.

Referring to numerous capacities of the province, he pointed out, ‘We favor promotion of bilateral ties and Hormuzgan can assume a role in developing of the relations.’

German envoy said that the German nation and commercial sectors are willing to promote communications with Iran, saying that the provincial officials can take advantage of German experts’ experience.
