Germany wants direct trade relations with Iran

German Ambassador to Tehran Michael Baron von Ungern said on Wednesday that his country calls for establishment of direct business relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

‘We are to invite Iranian experts and officials to attend upcoming ports and maritime exhibition in Germany,’ said the German ambassador during his visit to Shahid Rajaee port.

Close cooperation between Iranian experts and officials in ports and martime field is of prime importance, he said. Shahid Rajaee port with standard infrastructures enjoys suitable status for shipment of goods, he said.

Germany is one of the most important trade partners of Iran, he said adding that suitable grounds should be prepared for increasing exchange of visits between the two sides’ businessmen.
