 Norway keen on cooperation with Iran: Norwegian ambassador

Norway’s Ambassador to Tehran, Aud Lise Norheim said on Wednesday that Norwegian government is willing to develop cultural and scientific cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

She made the remarks in a special ceremony on inking a memorandum of understanding between Azad University of Iran with Oslo University of Norway.

Oslo faculty of media studies with 28 scientific boards celebrates the fiftieth establishment anniversary and has inked various MoU’s in telecommunications so far, she said. Faculty members of Oslo University are eager to visit Iran to implement MoU on mutual cooperation, she said.

Oslo Faculty of media studies has inked MoUs with various countries such as Myanmar, Indonesia and Malaysia, she said.Chancellor of Faculty of Social Telecommunication at Azad University Vahid Aqili said the MoU envisaged cooperation between the two universities.

Tehran Azad University and its branches in Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding on expansion of scientific cooperation with Oslo University, he said.
