Turkish ambassador Talk with Moayyed Hosseini Sadr

Umit Yardim, Turkish ambassador to Iran talked and exchanged views with Moayyed Hosseini Sadr, Head of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group”, AVA Diplomatic reports.Moayyed Hosseini Sadr, Head of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group, in a meeting with Umit Yardim, Turkish ambassador to Iran pointed to the cultural and historical commonalities of the two nations and said: “deep cultural and historical commonalities and shared interests provide good grounds for the consolidation of friendly ties in political, economic and cultural areas, especially the relations between the Iranian and Turkish parliaments”.

Head of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group referred to the recent crisis of the region as a threat to all the countries and added: “The continuous consultations between Iranian and Turkish officials can be a help to the stability of the region and impedes the development of the activities of terrorist and extremist groups in the region”.

He then laid emphasis on the need to accelerate the implementation of the signed agreements between the two countries and said: “expansion of border markets and facilitation of the merchant’s transportation in the Razi and Kapikoy border will lead to the expansion of economic and trade ties between the two countries”.

Hosseini Sadr then appreciated the efforts of Umit Yardim in developing friendly ties between the two countries during his mission in Tehran and wished him success.

The Turkish ambassador to Iran on his part expressed his satisfaction from his four years mission in Tehran and referred to Iran and Turkey as two important and influential countries of the region and said: “there are abundant opportunities in political, economic and industrial areas which should be operationalized by the uninterrupted consultations and talks between the officials of the two countries”.

He then said that the development of the ties with Iran in different areas is desired by the Turkish officials and added: “taking rational and logical measures in different regional and world issues by the two countries will be in favor of the region countries especially Turkey and Iran”.
