Ambassador of Finland visited Sharif

the Finish ambassador Harri Kamarainen visited Sharif University of Technology, AVA Diplomatic reports.The welcoming introduction took place in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department where Dr. Abd Khodaii (Dean of International Affairs), Dr. Molai (Chair of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department) and Dr. Taghi Khani (faculty member of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department) received him and took the ambassador on a tour to a few research (petroleum labs) and educational (unit operation lab) labs.

Afterwards, the ambassador visited Electrical Engineering Department where he met Dr. Fotohi (Chair of the department) and Dr. Khalaj (faculty member) following which Dr. Frdmanesh faculty member) introduced the super conductors’ lab).

At the final stage of the visit, a meeting was held in Dr. Roosta Azad’s (the president) office. The outcomes of this meeting was to emphasize the importance of building up relations among Finish Universities and Sharif University, also facilitating an easier way for the Sharif officials to attend Finland for academic purposes.
