Indian ambassador to Tehran considered Iran-India urban transportation relations as “new chapter” of mutual relations, AVA diplomatic reports.Indian ambassador to Tehran, Serio Stava met with deputy of transportation of Tehran municipality, Seyed Ja’far Tashakori Hashemi and said: “Iran and India are not just neighboring countries but also there have been lingual, regional and culture relations since 2000 years ago”.
He mentioned to his followed country technological abilities, particularly in transportation and said: “India is ready for cooperation with Tehran mayoral in developing railways industry, building urban buses with Euro 5 standard and producing steel used for transportation infrastructure.”
“India central government is responsible for developing metro,” he added “we are ready to provide needs of Tehran metro in field of producing locomotive.”
Indian ambassador to Tehran accentuated 3 million car production of his country and expressed India readiness to facilitate taxi system of Tehran with Indian standard car.
“Tehran has achieved significant progresses for instance running BRT system very well,” he added.
Deputy of Tehran mayor called India government and people “Iran friend” who has accompanied Iran in harsh times and sanction period.
Finally he said that in accordance with India abilities in railways and bus production industry, we can use of them.
