Italy envoy lauds Iran’s high place in world culture

The Italian envoy to Iran on Wednesday praised the country’s history and civilization and lauded its high place in world culture, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Iran with its great history and rich civilization has now a high place in world culture, Italian Ambassador to Iran Mauro Conciatori told reporters.

He made the remarks in a press conference on Italian Film Week, expected to be held in the Iranian capital, Tehran from July 1-6. Except the US, Iran has good cultural exchange with the world, the envoy added. He praised Iran’s artistic capabilities in various fields of theater, cinema, graphic and visual arts.
