Iran, at the start the first solar power plant, all Italian pride

Carlo Maresca SpA today inaugurated in Iran the first photovoltaic park built in full equity by an Italian company, the Blue Terra2, AVA Diplomatic reports.

The energy produced by the park ‘Blu Terra2’ which counts 30mila panels on an area of ​​20 hectares equal to about 40 football fields has entered the Iranian energy grid last 4 March and will produce 17 million kwh yearly. The Group has invested eight million euros, looked for land, closed the authorization process and received permits to connect to the network in just over eight months. The construction site was closed in six months, using three Italian technicians and all local labor.
