Zarif receives new British ambassador

New British Ambassador to Tehran Nicholas Hopton on Monday submitted copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, AVA Diplomatic reports.

In the meantime, Iran’s Ambassador to London Hamid Baeedinejad met with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and presented a copy of his credentials.

It is over one year that the two countries embassies have initiated activities and all relative affairs were carried out by both sides.

To enhance the level of relations, Tehran and London have decided to restore their ambassador level ties.

The enhanced relations do not mean that the two sides have resolved their disputes and the Islamic Republic of Iran will observe reciprocity and will express its views outspoken as before.
