 Belarus new Iran envoy submits copy of credentials to Zarif

Newly-appointed Belarus Ambassador to Iran Yuri Ivanovic Lazarcic on Sunday submitted a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Iranian foreign minister referred to good relations between Tehran and Minsk and called for enhancement of all-out ties between the two nations.

Removal of anti-Iranian sanctions has paved the way for development of banking and trade cooperation between Iran and Belarus, Zarif said.

The newly-appointed Belarus ambassador said for his part that he has a mission to promote economic relations with the Islamic Republic.

Iran’s new position on the international scene has provided lots of economic opportunities for Tehran and Minsk, Lazarcic said.
