Pang Sen appreciated the warm hospitality of the Iranians and voiced his content about his trip to Qom. Sen added, “Iran enjoys deep, rich civilization and culture and the relations between the two countries are long-standing. Iran is a great country that has contributed vastly to China in important matters such as counterterrorism and the case of Taiwan. These should be appreciated. We seek further ties with Iran in other fields such as science, religion, research, etc. Indubitably, the visit of the President of the People’s Republic of China can greatly affect the increase of ties.”
As Pang Sen further reiterated, “Iran and China are both after peace, but unfortunately, some countries seek fundamentalism and terrorism; they even wanted to orchestrate alignments with Chinese people in this, but Iran’s powerful influence avoided this and China managed to neutralize such scheme. Iran should be thanked for that.”
