Discussion on the occasion of International Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People

On the occasion of the International Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the International Studies Journal (ISJ) in cooperation with the UN Information Center (UNIC) in Tehran organized a roundtable discussion on “Children of Gaza” with participation of some 26 post graduate students of international relations and political science as well as researchers on 31 December 2014, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Then UNIC National Information Officer Mr. Mohammad Moghadam delivered the United Nations Secretary General’s message on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (29 November 2014.)

The workshop continued with speeches by the following experts who elaborated on impacts of Palestinian-Israeli conflicts on children of Gaza: Dr. Mohammad Mohebi, Dr. Hossein Royvaran, Mr. Yasser Salimi, Mr. Naser Mahmoudi, Dr. Rahman Ghahremanpour and Mr. Mehdi Kordi.

On Monday 5 January 2015, the participants of the workshop met Chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
