On the occasion of International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, International Studies Journal (ISJ) in partnership with UNIC Tehran organized “the Scientific –Research Workshop on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People: Challenges and Hopes for an Independent State” at Iranian Centre for International Conference (ICIC) on Thursday 26 November, AVA Diplomatic reports.

During the conference university professors, researchers and former diplomats elaborated on different issues such as Palestine and its independent government, impact of an independent Palestinian government on the nature of occupation, Palestine statehood form the point of view of international law, Islam and the Palestinian government and legal obstacles on the way of creating a Palestinian state.

After the welcoming remarks by ISJ Editor-in-Chief Dr. Mehdi Zakerian, UNIC National Information Officer Mohammad Moghadam delivered the United Nations Secretary-General’s message on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People for the participants.
