Iraq envoy: Iran nuclear deal a message of peace, friendship to world

Iraqi Ambassador to Iran Rajeh Al-Mousavi said that Iran’s nuclear deal with 5+1 Group was a message of peace and friendship to the world and for this reason it was welcomed by various nations across the world, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Addressing the ‘International Seminar of Ancient Sports, Youth and World Peace’ in Tabriz on Tuesday, he added that Iran showed to the world that it always struggle for global peace and security as well as forging friendship among the nations.

Iran was real winner of the nuclear talks and its government demonstrated that it is forerunner in ensuring peace and friendship, the envoy said.

Accusing arrogant powers of being behind the war and violence in Middle East, he said that after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, it has always attempted to create obstacles in the way of Iran’s progress and it was the reason why it planned Iran-Iraq war.

‘Launching attack on Iran was the decision of a single person not that of a nation,’ he contended.

Continuing such policies has turned the region into a hub of terrorism while the Muslim nations of the region have always campaigned against terrorism and they themselves were victims of the evil phenomenon, he said.

Describing Iran as a harbinger of sustainable peace in the world, AL-Mousavi said that the neighboring and friendly state has always tried to resolve its and other regional states’ problems through dialogue.

‘International Seminar of Ancient Sports, Youth and World Peace’ opened in Tabriz today in a ceremony attended by ambassadors and representatives of foreign countries.
