 Head of Hajj Organization, Iraqi envoy confer on bilateral ties

Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization met here on Tuesday with Iraq Ambassador to Tehran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Saeed Ouhadi in a meeting with Rageh Saber Abbood al-Mousavi said that resistance of Iraqi nation, government and army against enemies’ plots will secure their victory.

He said that common enemies of the two nations tried a lot to disturb nuclear negotiations and during fasting month of Ramadan, they tried by strengthening Takfiri groups in Iraq and access to temporary victories to hamper nuclear talks.

Ouhadi expressed his organization’s readiness to dispatch pilgrims for Arbayeen mourning rituals and said that 10 committees responsible for different affairs had been formed in a headquarters.

In order to make more coordination with Iraqi officials and upon a decree by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s Ambassador to Baghdad has been appointed as head of Arbayeen headquarters in Iraq.

He added that in three border provinces of Iran and Iraq, Kermanshah, Ilam and Khuzestan governor generals of the provinces have been appointed as head of Arbayeen headquarters.

Rajeh al-Mousavi appreciated Iranian government measures for establishment of Arbayeen headquarters and said that the Iraqi government had established a supreme committee for holy shrines in the cabinet.

Mousavi also felicitated Iran’s success in nuclear talks and called it a success for Iraqi people, too.
