Brazilian Minister of Labor to visit Iran

Brazilian Minister of Labor is due to visit Iran soon, Deputy Minister of Co-operatives, Labor and Social Welfare for international Affairs said on Tuesday, AVA Diplomatic reports.
Mohammad-Taqi Hosseini made the remarks in a meeting with Brazilian Ambassador to Tehran Santiago Irazabal Mourao.
He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran attaches importance to Brazil politico-economic and geographical status.
Hosseini said that Iran is willing to develop cooperation with Brazil in the fields of social affairs.
Hosseini said that Iran and Brazil paid special attention to reduce poverty and boost social welfare by implementing social programs.
He said that the two countries have won satisfactory reputation among developing countries, calling for sharing experience and cooperation to enhance standard of social services and welfare.
Hosseini added that Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiee attended conference in Brazil about ‘Child Labor’ and presented proposals, which was welcomed.
The minister also held meetings with Brazilian senior officials aiming to increase cooperation.
He described the meeting of Iranian and Brazilian labor ministers held in Geneva important and said that regular consultations between senior officials of the two countries are necessary.
Hosseini reminded that Brazilian Minister of Labor and Employment Manoel Diaz is to visit Iran soon and during visit the two sides will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of social affairs.
Santiago Irazabal Mourao said that Iran and Brazil have excellent political relations and they are expected to develop ties in all fields.
He expressed hope that visit of the Brazilian minister to Tehran would be useful in development of cooperation in social affairs.
