 German Ambassador: Iran managed successfully Afghan refugees life

Germany Ambassador to Tehran said on Sunday that Iran has successfully managed the issues pertaining to the Afghan refugees living in Iran and spent the money provided by the international agencies for betterment of their standard of life, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Michael Freiherr Von Ungern-Sternberg made the remarks during his visit to Afghan refugee camp in Saveh.He said that Germany as a member of international community supports the refugees and carried evaluation about administration of the Afghan refugees life, it became clear that Iran spent the money provided by the international agencies to enhance standard of life, sanitation, education and training skills.

He added that determined goals of the Food and Agriculture Organization are being observed very well in the camp by Iran.

Director General of foreign nationals and immigrants affairs of the Governorate General of Markazi Province, for his part, said that there are more than 40,000 authorized foreign immigrants living in three cities of Arak, Saveh and Delijan and around 5,000 of them are living in this camp.

Seyed Mojtaba Al-e Yasin said that foreign nationals in this province have occupied more than 6,000 jobs.

He said that currently 7,000 Afghan pupils and 400 university students are living in the province.
