 South Khorassan province ready to host world tourists

South Khorassan province is ready to host tourists from around the globe, as the province has high tourism potentials, the province’s governor general said Wednesday in a meeting with Swiss ambassador to Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Governor General Vajhollah Khedmatgozar referred to South Khorassan province’s exemplary infrastructure facilities, natural attractions, and historical monuments, coupled with its fine security conditions as the appropriate factors that make the province an ideal destination for foreign tourists.

‘Based on the principle of mutual respect, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for political, economic and cultural interactions with all world countries based,’ added Khedmatgozar.

He also referred to the province’s production of strategic agricultural products, rich mines and border markets in addition to its tourism potentials, providing an appropriate ground for foreign investments.

Switzerland’s ambassador, too, said that his county is not a threat to any country in the world.

‘We are trying to boost our relations with Iran,” Haus added in the meeting with Khedmatgozar.

 “Switzerland believes Iran is a great country and thinks that the country has chosen the right path. We guarantee that certain concerns of the international community about Iran will be eased in the next few months,” he added.

The Swiss diplomat also highlighted Iranian industrial, economic, scientific and tourism potentials, and said Iranian tourism industry rose by 30-40 percent since the formation of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s government.

He also said that Swiss tourists are willing to visit Iran time and again because of the exemplary Iranian hospitality.
