Both schools started construction in late June 2014 and are now operational. The 9-classroom Imam Reza School located in Aftab district, south of Tehran, provides formal educational services to over 157 students, of which 33% are refugees and the rest are Iranian. The 12-classroom Shahid Nader Taheri School is located in Karim Abad village in Pakdasht district and is host to 226 students, 50% of whom are refugees.
