Gilan Governor meeting with Srilankan Ambassador

In his trip to Gilan, Srilankan ambassador to Iran met with Gilan governor and exchanged views about the development of the cooperation, AVA Diplomatic reports.Gilan Governor, Mohammad Ali Najafi in the meeting with Mohammad Feisal Razin pointed to the agricultural, industrial, cultural, scientific and tourism resources of Gilan province and said: “We are looking for practical and stable measures in our international ties and for the development of the ties between Gilan and Srilanka we should benefit from the private sector capacities.”

“In addition to the cooperation in tea industry we can cooperate in food and steel export business and also in providing engineering services”, reiterated Gilan governor.

Srilankan ambassador to Iran expressed his pleasure about his second trip to Gilan after only 6 months and said: “We are ready to sign bilateral cooperation agreements on tea industry with Gilan province and develop the ties.”
