Georgian Ambassador Visit to Fereydunshahr
Georgian ambassador to Iran visited the cultural and economic resources of Fereydunshahr in his trip to this town”, AVA Diplomatic reports.During his trip to fereydunshahr where the Georgian descents reside Ioseb Chakhvashvili said: “economic and cultural grounds of cooperation between Iran and Georgia are extensive and there are now many Iranian investors who registered company in Georgia and are busy with economic activities.
During his meeting with the officials and elites of Fereydunshar, Georgian Ambassador referred to Iran as a brother and friend country and said: “Iran assisted us in many of the events and crisis.”
Announcing that 8500 Iranian live in Georgia, Ioseb Chakhvashvili stated: “Iran as the cradle of civilization and culture and with many eminent thinkers and writers is a scientifically and culturally rich country.”
“We are proud that the Georgian living in Iran and Fereydunshahr are of the best Iranian citizens and Fereydunshahr is one of the safest towns of Isfahan Province”, reiterated he.
Expressing satisfaction that 400 years after the immigration of Georgian to this part of Iran Georgian language is still preserved, Chakhvashvili said that Georgia is totally ready to hold Georgian language and literature classes in every corner of Iran especially in Fereydunshahr.
Fereydunshahr is located in 155 km west of Isfahan province in a mountains and cold area with an approximate population of 40000.
