 Afghan Ambassador: Festivals Pave the Way for More Interactions

Afghan ambassador to Iran finds programs like National Festival of Iranian Āsh as preparation for more interactions and exchanges, AVA Diplomatic reports.Nasir Ahmad Noor at the beginning of the 9th National Festival of Iranian Āsh said: “holding and participating in such festivals cause nations to be more acquainted with customs and traditions of each other and enhances cultural practices. Meanwhile, I had a good experience today because a variety of Āshs, thousands of people and ambassadors of different countries brought me a memorable memory,” Ava Diplomatic reported.

 

He added: “The festival will absolutely have a good feedback in different levels, because it is a local custom presented in Iran and Zanjan province and it can be also presented in different parts of the world.”

 

Ahmad Noor pointed to his proposal to the director general of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization concerning internationalization of this festival and asserted: “National Festival of Iranian Āsh can be held in the regional level, because countries of the region share cultural common grounds as in food and cooking and it can bring more friendship between the nations.”
