Farewell Visit of Ukraine Ambassador with Deputy Foreign Minister
Ukraine’s ambassador to Tehran met and talked with Morteza Sarmadi, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, at the end of his mission in Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.Morteza Sarmadi, Deputy Foreign Minister spoke appreciatively of Oleksandr Samarskiy’s efforts for the development of mutual relations between Iran and Ukraine and said: “relations between the two countries have been continually developing and there are still many capacities for the development of the relations, especially in economic and commercial dimensions.”
He voiced hope that the new ambassador employs his good knowledge and experience to continue the expansion of Tehran-Kiev relations in all areas.
Sarmadi pointed to the principled position of Iran in respecting the territorial integrity of countries and non-interference in internal affairs of the countries and expressed hope that Ukraine and Ukrainians successfully overcome the current situation by relying on their domestic capacities because extension of the crisis is in contrast with the national interests of Ukraine and Ukrainians.
Oleksandr Samarskiy, Ukraine’s ambassador presented a report from the current situation of Ukraine and voiced hope that Ukraine passing the current situation, the friendly relations between the two countries continues strongly and that the political changes will not affect the friendly and good relations of the two countries.
He pointed to his good experiences and memories in the great and beautiful Iran and reassured that he will use all his power and experience to advance the mutual relations in the new period.
