 Afghan envoy calls for admission of Afghan students in Iranian universities

Afghan ambassador to Iran Nasir Ahmad Noor visited Iranian Healthcare Ministry International Affairs Department deputy director Arsalan Ghorbani and exchanged views on the conditions of Afghan students in Iranian universities, AVA Diplomatic reports.In the meeting, the Afghan envoy expressed consent about the successful Iranian presidential election and the Iranians’ participation in the event, calling it another great political epic in Iran’s dossier.

Ghorbani also called the maximal participation of the people in the event a new chapter in strengthening Iran’s position in the region and the world, expressing hope that the expansion of scientific and academic cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan can be increased as it did in the past.

Later in the meeting, Afghan ambassador stressed on the necessary facilitations and protections on the side of Iran to recruit more Afghan students in Iranian universities and called for further facilitation in the admission of Afghan students in Iranian universities, providing more financial and insurance protections for Afghan students.

He called Iranian universities’ and academic centers’ high scientific and technological level important in the region and in the world and said the geographical neighborhood and cultural, religious and historical similarities of the two countries account for the expansion of this cooperation.
