Turkish embassy hosts celebration on 90th anniversary of Turkish Republic

Turkish Ambassador to Iran Umit Yardim hosted celebration of the Turkish Republic’s 90^th Anniversary in his residence in Tehran, AVA diplomatic reports.In the ceremony was attended by ambassadors and envoys from foreign countries including Azerbaijan, Austria, Switzerland, and Pakistan, representatives from other countries as well as Turks residing in Tehran, traders, and businessmen.

On Tuesday, thousands of Turks poured into the country’s large squares celebrating the establishment of the Turkish Republic.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk founded the Turkish republic in 1923.
