Italian National Day celebration held in Tehran

Italian National Day celebration, Festa della Repubblica in Italian, was held in the Italian ambassador residence in Tehran.

The celebration attended by state and army officials from Iran, other ambassadors and international diplomatic officials was held while it was the first time the new Italian ambassador hosted the celebrations in Iran.

In the opening speech, Luca Giansanti was noted the amicable and age-old relations between the two countries saying “the ancient nations of Iran and Italy are able to identify goodness and beauties”.
