 Bangladesh’s Ambassador Meets Golestan’s Commerce Members

The ambassador of Bangladesh visited the financial officials of Gorgan. During the meeting, the administrator of Golestan’s Department of Industry, Mines and Commerce addressed the potentials of his province referring to collaborations in tourism, equestrian activities and agriculture and hoped for the session to mark a new beginning of joint activities, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Khandkar Abdussattar, too, pointed to the bilateral economic potentials underlining, “Over the past few years, various MOUs and agreements have been signed between Bangladesh and Iran which are accessible in the joint commission of the two countries. The leather and textile market owns a rather special place in Bangladesh and we will soon be a big rival for China and Turkey in the future.”

Talking of the joint conference between Iran and Bangladesh in a near future, Abdussattar further said, “To develop trades between Bangladesh and Iran’s Golestan, we will invite the economic officials of the province to take part in the conference.”

The chairman of Gorgan’s Chamber of Commerce, Hamid Damqani appreciated the ambassador’s good will toward Iran reminding, “The best method to put trade ties in practice is for both sides to state their needs to one another based on which plans can be offered and delegations shall be dispatched thereto.”

The ambassador and his accompanying body on the final leg of their trip visited the industrial district of Agh Ghola in Gorgan.
