 Indonesian envoy hails Iran’s religious academy

Indonesian ambassador to Islamic Republic of Iran has hailed prominent religious academy, University of Islamic Denominations (UID) for expanding academic relations between the two countries, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Octavino Alimudin, Indonesian ambassador to Iran attended a convention of Indonesian students hailing University of Islamic Denominations as pioneer of academic cooperation between the two countries.

The two countries have reportedly signed over 20 academic agreements holding two conferences at the University of Islamic Denominations and several others held by the academy in universities across Iran.

This is while a number of visits have been made by different academic boards from Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations in Indonesia and a delegation of professors and lecturers from UID have recently visited Indonesia to attend conferences and exchange views with researchers and scholars in the country.

Iran’s ambassador to Indonesia also lauded the religious university as the best academy to boost scientific cooperation between the two countries.
