Dutch Ambassador to Iran Susanna Terstal said here on Tuesday that Iran’s capabilities as well as its intelligent experts is an advantage for economic cooperation, AVA Diplomatic reports.
She made the remarks on the sidelines of ‘Marine Industries Conference’ in Kish Island of the Persian Gulf.
Terstal said Iran and the Netherlands enjoy good and friendly relations, especially in post-JCPOA era.
She said a clear indication of such good relations is presence of one of the most active Dutch companies in the field of marine industries in this conference and exhibition.
The two countries have promoted their trade ties after the elimination of the sanctions imposed against Iran.
She presented a short report on her country’s activities in marine industries and in the field of development of world ports.
The ambassador said the most important goal of the Dutch companies for attending the exhibition is to exchange the know-how, technology and the elimination of trade limitations in the industry.
The 19th Marine Industries Conference inaugurated on Tuesday here and the international exhibition is to be opened on Tuesday evening at the venue of Kish International Exhibition place.
Kish Island in the Persian Gulf is a part of Hormuzgan Province with a population of 40,000.
