JCPOA helped bolstering Iran-Holland ties: Envoy
Dutch Ambassador to Iran Susanna Terstal said that Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has contributed to promotion of political and economic ties between the two countries, AVA Diplomatic reports.
In a meeting with Qazvin Governor General Fereydoun Hemmati, she added that it is projected that bilateral ties will further improve within the next two years.
She voiced Dutch businessmen’s interest to invest in Iran’s economic projects, and said that after the implementation of the JCPOA, many companies came to Iran for cooperation in various fields such as agriculture and energy.
Meanwhile, the two countries exchanged delegations comprising ministers or other high-ranking officials, the ambassador said.
Referring to her country’s agricultural capacities, she said that it boasts of higher capacities in production and export of agricultural products.
Terstal further noted that the country ranks second in terms of growing and export of flowers and the companies are eager to cooperate with their Iranian counterparts in the greenhouse sector.
During her half-day stay in Qazvin province, the Dutch envoy visited a knowledge-based greenhouse complex in the city.
