International Women’s Day Commemorated at Alzahra University

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism in partnership with the Women and Family Group of Alzahra University and UNIC Tehran organized a conference entitled “Empowering Women Victims of Terror: A necessity for Defending Future of Humanity” at Faculty of Social and Economic Science of Alzahra University on 8 March 2017, AVA Diplomatic reports.

The seminar began with United Nations Secretary-General’s message, delivered by UNIC NIO Mohammad Rajai-Moghadam.

Then Associate Professor of Faculty of Law at Allameh Tabatabaee University Dr. Seyyed Qasem Zamani, member of scientific board of Allameh Tabatabaee University Dr. Aramesh Shahbazi, the visiting media expert from South California University Dr. Alexander Azadegan, Dr. MehrAngiz Shoa-Kazemi Member of Scientific Board and Associate Professor of Alzahra University and researcher from Alzahara University Dr. Maryam Ahmadian delivered their lectures. The seminar ended by a question and answer session.
