Romania supports JCPOA by all means: Envoy
Romanian ambassador to Tehran declared his country’s support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) reached between Iran and Group 5+1 (the US, Britain, Russia, China and France plus Germany), AVA Diplomatic reports.
All countries should respect the international agreements and be bound to fulfill their obligations, Adrian Kozjacski said in a meeting with Kazem Jalali, head of Iran–Romania Friendship group.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that the Romanian parliament is interested in development of relations with Iran parliament.
The Romanian envoy conveyed an invitation letter from the Romanian head of the friendship group to Jalali.
During the meeting, the Iranian official for his part said that the current US government breach of its obligations has discredited the country in the international scene.
Jalali underlined the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program and said, ‘The US is not anymore trustworthy.’
He expressed the hope for the elevation of parliamentarian and mutual cooperation between the two states.
