Iran, China boast of rich, bright cultures: Envoy

Chinese Ambassador in Tehran said on Tuesday that China and Iran are civilized countries with rich and brilliant cultures, AVA Diplomatic reports.

“Two civilizations of Iran and China have had good exchanges since the ancient tines through Silk Road,” Pang Sen said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a photo exhibition held by the Islamic Republic News Agency IRNA and the Chinese News agency Xinhua.

The IRNA-Xinhua Photo Exhibition will make the two countries more acquainted with each other’s economic and cultural conditions, he said.

Pang Sen added that IRNA and Xinhua are the official news agencies of the two friendly countries.

He hoped that IRNA and Xinhua would maintain their good ties in the future.

IRNA-Xinhua Photo Exhibition is underway in Tehran concurrent with Chinese Cultural Week and will continue until September 23.

The event is displaying 80 photos featuring culture, history and tourism attractions and economy.
