Austrian Envoy Hails Outcomes of Interfaith Dialogue

Austria’s Ambassador to Iran Stefan Scholz lauded the positive outcomes of inter religious dialogues in correcting societies’ views of followers of different religions, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the 7th interfaith dialogue between Iran and Austria, he said such events lead to finding better solutions for problems.

It was held in Tehran on Monday.

He conveyed the “warm greetings” of Austria’s foreign minister to the participants in the gathering and hailed the long history of interfaith dialogue between the two countries.

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the theme of this round of interfaith dialogue between Iran and Austria is “Freedom, Humans’ Free Will and Their Responsibility toward Environment and Nature”.

The Austrian envoy underlined the world responsibility toward the nature and said followers of different faiths should share their views on the issue to come to a common understanding.
