Iran-Vietnam cultural commonalities help forging ties: Envoy

Cultural, climatic and anthropological commonalities between Iran and Vietnam will promote relations between two countries, Vietnam envoy to Iran said, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Nguyen Hong Thach made the remarks Monday while visiting Gorgan city in Golestan province.

He pointed to Iranian museums as depicting Iran’s rich civilization.

Nguyen also referred to Gorgan handicrafts museum, saying Vietnamese artists will play role in Gorgan soon.

Vietnamese ambassador had a trip to Gorgan on Monday to attend cultural festival in Golestan province.
