Iran, Pakistan to increase trade ties up to $5 billion
Current Ambassador of Pakistan to Tehran said his country is willing to expand trade ties with Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.
Asif Ali Khan Durrani, who has recently been appointed as the current ambassador to Tehran, said the two countries enjoy the capabilities to boost mutual cooperation in various sectors including trade and finance.
His remarks came following his trip to Iranian southern city of Zahedan, where he underscored the necessity of increasing trade and commerce between the companies of both countries.
Referring to the meeting between Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Sharif stated that the meeting aimed at increasing trade ties up to $5 billion in near future.
