 Algerian Cultural Week Will Be Held in Tehran

Algerian cultural week will be held in Tehran on Monday, December 12 with the contribution of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, AVA Diplomatic reports.

According to the Public Relations of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Algerian cultural week will be held in Tehran on Monday, December 12 with the presence of Algerian artists from the fields of cinema, music, handicrafts and visual arts.

The aim of this cultural event is to introduce the culture and arts of Algerian people to Iranians which will be held in the form of poetry night, the establishment of arts and handicrafts exhibition, broadcast film, performance of traditional and ritual music, and academic meetings in the field of cultural relations between the two countries.

According to this report, Abdel-Monem Ahriz, Algerian Ambassador to Iran and the diplomatic members of the Algerian Embassy met with Seyed Mohammad Hossein Hashemi, the Cultural Deputy of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization to carry out the necessary coordination to hold this cultural event.

It is noteworthy that Iranian Cultural Week was held in Algeria on October 2015 with the presence of Dr. Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, the head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and his accompanying delegation.
