Amir-Abdollahian: Attack on Syrian army unveiled US intention

Senior Iranian official blasted US for attacking the Syrian army’s military positions in Deir Ezzur, Syria, AVA Diplomatic reports.

 “The attack by the US fighter jets on the Syrian military forces who are fighting against the terrorist groups and terrorism made Washington’s intentions clearer,” said Special Advisor to parliament speaker for international affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a meeting with Syrian Ambassador to Tehran.

He underlined that the White House takes any measure to weaken Syria and strengthen the terrorist groups.

‘The US military presence in Syrian airspace is violation of the international law which has taken place without any coordination with the Syrian government.
