Norwegian industrialists ready for joint venture investment in Iran

Norwegian Ambassador to Tehran Aud Lise Norheim said on Saturday that Norwegian industrialists are ready for joint venture investment in Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Iranian Energy Ministry planned to produce 5,000 megawatts electricity from renewables in the Sixth Five-Year Economic Development Plan.

Currently, renewable energy capacity of Iranian power plants is only one percent of total energy output.

Renewable energy power plants will be set up to produce almost 5,000 megawatts.
