 Ambassador: Finland keen to develop ties with west Azarbaijan businesses

Finland’s Ambassador to Tehran Harri Kamarainen said on Saturday that his country keen to boost cooperation with West Azarbaijan province businesses including water resource management, agriculture, health and medical treatment services, AVA Diplomatic reports.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Governor General of province Qorbanali Sa’adat.

The envoy said that Finland is exporting modern technology in the field of health to different countries such as the US and European states and Finland is willing to supply the West Azarbaijan province with medical technology.

Meanwhile, Finland is among advanced countries in the field of water resources management and agriculture and would help remove water shortage of the province, he added.

Kamarainen said that there exists a very good relationship between Medical Science University of the province with Finnish Company ‘New Icon’.

New Icon Company is launching a robotic pharmacy in Orumiyeh in cooperation with the University.

The governor general welcomed the proposal, saying that the province is neighboring three countries of Turkey, Iraq and Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic and people living on both sides of the borders have amicable relations.

The governor-general said that high capacity of the province in agriculture, the provincial plan for industrial development and tourist attractions are the grounds for joint venture investment.
